I was wondering if any of you have used either MathStart books or Hello Math! readers.  I came across them in a short list of “living books” for math, and I wanted to know what you all think.

I have not read these, but I think I remember them being recommended here on another post.

I searched “Hello Math!” and “MathStart” before I posted, but I couldn’t seem to find anything related.  So, if anyone does remember an earlier post, I would love to find it!

I have several MathStart books in my lending library.  They are very good at explaing math concepts in a real world fashion.  However, my hands-down favorite living math series is the Young Math series.  These are VERY well done.  However, they are OOP and some are very pricey.  But I continually search for titles I don’t have that I can afford.

On the young math subject. There are some free here and the complete list.
