hello Everyone!
I have been doing a lot of research to try to help out my dd with math lately and came across Math On The Level. It really looks like it would fit our immediate needs quite well. The only problem is that we are in Canada and I can’t seem to find anyone here who sells it! With the current exchange rate, plus taxes and shipping, the price would make it impossible for us to do right now. I know this is probably a long shot, but does anyone know of a Canadian retailer who sells this curriculum? Or possibly where I could find it used for less? It’s really to bad they don’t do digital downloads. It would be cheaper for us to print it all out ourselves and get it bound than to pay exchange rate+shipping+taxes, etc. Any help or info is appreciated.
2Corin57ParticipantThis is a hard program to find used because it’s able to be used for multiple children for all grades. The company doesn’t offer digital, but you could check Amazon, eBay, etc…
We actually owned this once and I loved the idea of it, but my son really likes having workbooks/textbooks that he can read for himself, so I sold our set. I wish I’d kept it, as I think it would be great for DD who does much better with a more hands on approach.
If you purchase directly from the company they will ship to Canada. It’s $44, I know that seems high, but it’s actually not a bad price considering how heavy/big the package is. It wouldn’t be much cheaper shipping within Canada itself probably.
psreitmomParticipantI just looked on homeschoolclassifieds.com and someone is selling Math On the Level used. Maybe they would be willing to ship to Canada. Go to the website, click on the letter M for math, and you will see an alphabetical list of curriculum beginning with M. Scroll down to Math On the Level and click on ‘essentials’ and you will be able to email the seller. HTH
2Corin57ParticipantLinabean – if you contact Math on the Level directly, they have older copies/seconds that they will sell for about 50% off. That may help!
LinabeanParticipantThank you, 2Corine57! I’ll do that! I thought we were going to have to wait until we had more funds available, but maybe we will be able to pull it off sooner, now! VERY appreciated!

2Corin57ParticipantI might be able to do you one better. I’m in Canada, and I just bought a copy. However, we’ve just had some expenses come up and I’m going to have to let it go. If you want to email me (I don’t think there’s a message option here?) my email is mshanson@rogers.com, and maybe we can come up with a price that works for both of us, that will be cheaper than you buying it in the US?
LinabeanParticipant2Corin57- sent you an email.
2Corin57ParticipantOkay, I’ll keep checking, so far it hasn’t come through. What is your email, if it doesn’t come through I can just email you?
2Corin57ParticipantIt never did come through, but tell you what, I had listed it on eBay. If you want it, you can purchase it right through here (you can also ask a question about it right there). It’s listed in US funds, with $19.99 shipping to Canada, so just go ahead and put in a lower best offer, whatever you think you can afford and we can go from there.
LinabeanParticipant2Corin57 – just wanted to say thanks for your help in all this! We were able to get together the funds and are looking forward to using MOTL! This is the first time I have ordered anything from ebay…YAY for new experiences! ; )

2Corin57ParticipantYay! Glad to help! I’m going to try and get this in the mail tomorrow, but it might be Wednesday, as we’ve got a storm rolling into today that’s supposed to last into tomorrow. But I’ll get it out as quick as I can!
2Corin57ParticipantHi Lina, I was getting this ready for shipment, I wanted to confirm the shipping address. You mentioned you’re in Canada, but the address coming up on Paypal for shipping is Erlanger, Kentucky. Can you please confirm if this is correct? I just don’t want to ship it there, if that’s wrong. Thanks!
