Math

Hi!
We have used Singapore Math with our older kids (ages 8 and 10) and we recently switched to Life of Fred; the kids are using it independently. I plan on using LoF for our six year old as well but he is still learning to read and I wonder if something more hands on for the initial math lessons would be better before going to LoF. I have the six year old using the Singapore Math Kindergarten book A right now but I am thinking about using the SCM Arithmetic book 1 for him. We already have the first several LoF books so, financially, it would be better to just start the six year old with that with me reading the books to him but I’m not sure if that would be best for him. And the SCM Arithmetic looks so lovely! Haha. Any advice on how to proceed?
