Magazine for 8 year old girl?

    Does anyone have any favorite magazines for their daughters, preferably speaking for age 8? I know about Highlights and Kids National Geographic, but just wanted to see if there are some other good ones that I don’t know about. 🙂

    Nature Friend, Ranger Rick and horse magazines like Young Rider are my dd10’s favorites.

    Hopscotch: the Magazine for Girls and its sister publication, Fun for Kidz. Nothing offensive. Their mission is to keep girls innocent as long as possible.

    Also, what about Focus on the Family Clubhouse? I don’t know if an 8yo would need the Jr. or regular edition.

    I’ve heard these are great. I’ve viewed them at the bookstore and they look really nice.

    Girlhood Companion…that may be a little mature though.

    My girls LOVE their God’s World News…and once upon a time they LOVED American Girl!
