    Has anyone used Luminosity?  I’m thinking this might be a fun and helpful activity to add to our school day – wouldn’t take much time and I’m guessing might strengthen lots of different areas of schoolwork.

    Do you have a link for this?  I’m always looking for ‘fun and helpful activities’ but a web search is bringing up all sorts of crazy things!

    They require that the student be 13 to use it.

    I play around on lumostiy on occasion, but I don’t have the paid membership. It may be a fun extra activity for the older ones. When I first found the site I kept typing luminosity too!

    My special needs son (16) actually uses it.  For a while he was doing it daily then the holidays hit.  I want him to get back into it again.  We do have the paid membership and it’s really helped him.  I can’t really explain how, just that in all areas it seems to give him a workout for his brain and create new connections.
