    Hi friends,

We are planning to move to the Austin area (Round Rock, specifically) this summer. I am looking for other Moms who educate using CM. I would like to get together for discussion of applying her philosophy at home.I would also love to get kids together for discussion/ co-op. I am educating my last two children, 14 yr old daughter and 12 yr old son. We have graduated three other kids from homeschooling with CM. It’s the best! Please let me know if any of you are in the area, and especially if anyone has a group going. Thanks!

Congratulations on your move to the Austin area – it is a great place to live. I can’t help you find a group, but did want to let you know that the Ambleside School in Fredericksburg is a great source for CM information. They may even have a listing of CM groups in the Hill Country that you could access.

My sister is in Georgetown, and they absolutely love it there. Hope you have a great move and find some other CM’ers to ‘do life’ with :)!

    Hi Martha!

I live in the Austin area. There is an area-wide group of CM educating moms that meets once per month for discussion. I have not participated with the group for some time, but am still on their email list. Currently they are meeting one Thursday/month. Since  I’m not able to meet on Thursdays, I’ve lost track of which one.

We live in Pflugerville – between a rock and a wierd place. 😉 There is a general homeschool group for social activities in Pflugerville, and there is also one in Round Rock. The Austin CM group I mentioned above is the only CM specific group I am aware of. PM me if you are interested and I’ll dig up that link for you.

I wish you well with your move.
