Living Education Retreat in MN – Anyone going?

    I am sooo excited that my husband has agreed to let me travel to MN for the Living Education Retreat in July. It is going to be a fabulous, refreshing, learning experience just like when Sonya came to Jax, FL last year. 

    If so, I hope to meet you there!

    I wish I could, since we now live in MN, but this year, it is on my dh’s and dd’s birthdays!  🙁  Otherwise, I was thinking seriously of going.  Someone else from our co-op has been to it, but I can’t remember if she’ll be going this year or not.  I’ll be seeing her tomorrow though.  🙂  Have a great time, and report back!  😉  I really hope I can go next year.

    Yes, I’m coming from FL. Hubby is letting me use some frequent flier points so the only costs are the retreat and car rental. I’m very excited to attend another CM focused event. I attend our large state convention and it’s great, but this year I’m serving on the board of directors for the state organization and will working convention the whole time instead of soaking in the refreshing talks, etc.

    I mentioned this in passing to hubby late last week, and he said WE COULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER GOING!!!!  WOAH!!!  I asked him where is my dh, because this is not what he would say….  LOL  But he said he knows it’s important to me.  Surprised  Wow!  Another mom from my co-op is going and thinking about bringing her dh.  I just have to find sitters for my kidlets, and then I’ll be signing us up.  Speaking of which, I need to call my mother….  😉

    I’ll reply on here when I know for sure!  It’ll be awesome to meet some of you IRL!

    Just had to say, it was awesome meeting both Christie and Richele at the retreat this past weekend!  I am definitely going to have to go again, though I think hubby will stay home this time…..  Wink  I learned SO MUCH and even bought my girls some really nice blank books to use as nature notebooks.  I had no idea I wasn’t implementing enough stuff to make our school truly CM!  Surprised  LOL  Actually, 2 gals from my co-op were there, sans husbands and kids.  So it was great meeting up with them, as well, since I only see them during the school year mostly.  Smile

    OK this is off topic, but I just wanted to commed Cindie on her fantastic blog, it is tremendous – well done. Even though my girls are older I shall visit often because it is so well done. Blessings, Linda
