    HI! There is an agricultural college very near to us in Georgia which has some resident eagles. The college has a live webcam up in the tree where the nest is.  The eagle couple has one baby which hatched about two days ago and one egg still which has yet to hatch.  It is very exciting and a rare opportunity for some great nature study! Enjoy!

    I just wanted to bump this. 

    If the second egg doesn’t hatch by tomorrow, they don’t think it will hatch at all…but the baby is so precious.  It’s amazing to see the male and female sharing responsibility for the hunting and nurturing!

    And we just spotted an eagle flying around one of our fields!  That’s the third time this winter we’ve seen eagles on our farm.  We’re pretty excited about it.  (And hoping all our bunnies that escaped from their cage will take cover!!)
