Hello Everyone! I am looking into the LDTR material. I am wondering if the Children’s book can be used independently from the LDTR, or do they have to go together? For some reason this is danting to me, so spill your advice, please!

The children’s book can be used on its own, and you will still make great progress with habit training. I suggest using the two resources together, as this is how they are designed. The original Laying Down the Rails is more for Mom, with everything Charlotte said about each habit. It is nice to refer to when you are in the children’s version and needing more information for a particular habit. Honestly, I don’t refer to my LDTR too often, but I’m always thankful when I can since I have it. It was daunting to me too, but I promise, SCM has made it as easy to understand as possible! If you absolutely have to choose just one resource, go with LDTR for Children. It’s much more hands-on and practical. You’ll miss out on CM’s words, but you’ll still have an excellent resource in habit training your children.

    Blessings,

    Lindsey

Thanks for this question, and also for the answer. I was just wondering if I could use just LDTRFC.
