Does anyone know how long the price will be marked down?  I’m way behind in our planning and budgeting for school for next year and am still trying to figure out what all I can afford or what I have to wait on.  I think this resource looks wonderful but don’t feel like I can get it until I have things a bit more figured out.

    Glad you’re enjoying it, amandajhilburn!

pangit, the introductory pricing was supposed to be good through yesterday, but we had a problem with our payment processor on Wednesday, so we’ve extended it an extra day. The discounted price will be available through the end of today.

I didn’t notice an age range for LDRFC.  I appologize if it’s there and I just didn’t see it.

Also, would this be considered personal development?

    Thanks

Laying Down the Rails for Children is a parent resource to be used with children of all ages. Habit training is considered personal development, yes.

I just got mine yesterday too, and can’t wait to start! I think I’ll wait until we’re through with our regular school work this year to implement it in earnest, though. I’ll think of it as “summer school.” =) Looks like a terrific resource!

For the new *for children* book, the discount was $4 for both the printed & PDF versions.

I’m pretty sure my bundle was $5 off. What about getting the e-book bundle?

I’d like to know the same as potpourri, can you use this without the Laying Down the Rails?

I think that you could do it w/out the LDTR, but it references you back to it often, so you will know what direction CM was talking about with each character trait. In order to see a more clear picture and have a better grasp of the premise these traits were written about, you will eventually want the LDTR. Maybe you could start with just the For Children, and then get the LDTR the next time you have some money.

Looking into purchasing these books and I was wondering how it’s going for those who have already begun implementing.  Please share your experiences so far!  Laughing

I am very new to this website, though I’ve heard a lot about SCM. I am wondering if these new Laying Down the Rails for Children should be used instead of A Child’s Book of Character Building or together? Thank you for your help
