I could use some help deciding what to do about Latin.
my 13 year olds went through the first 15 lessons of Henle Latin First year and my 15 year olds went through lesson 25 while in Classical conversations.

I want them to continue Latin but they are burned out from Henle and the intense pace and workload of it from their time in classical conversations.

I can’t decide if I should keep it light by having everyone do Getting Started with Latin or Visual Latin or have the more experienced students go to the Cambridge Latin. I don’t know anything about the Cambridge curriculum so I’m not sure if it’s too difficult

I think understanding Latin is important but I don’t want to overwhelm them since they’ll also be doing a modern language.

    Never mind y’all

i looked at Getting Started and Visual Latin and decided to go with Visual Latin I. We’ve see. The videos before and he is very funny and since they have some background in Latin it will be review but not too slow. It’s got 30 lessons so we can do about 1 lesson per week (over 2 days/week) with enough wiggle room to take breaks around Christmas & Easter when things are really busy.
They would have gotten bored with Getting Started with Latin.
