lapbooks-ancient rome

Just got Ancient Rome and saw on the extra’s Michelle added a site for Lapbooks.  I have some younger ones oldest being 12 next year when we start.  I was thinking for those of you who have used them.

Would you have them color/cut/paste these as you are reading or after (I suppose it’s dependent on each child being able to listen and read).

Also what age would kids like these? Thanks
