Lamplighter book sale!!

    Save some moola for some worthwhile books. Lamplighter is having a huge sale from January 4th-6th, 2010.

    For example, you can get the entire stater set for 6-11 yr. olds, normally 181.00 for 139.00. Or, Best for boys and girls ages 6-11, normally 485.00, for 369.00. Just two examples; You can also purchase individual books.

    Now, I have yet to compare the books I’m picking at Amazon, used or otherwise, so I can’t give you a comparison; I always do that. But I thought I would pass this opportunity along.

    I should’ve added that the sale includes the wonderful Lamplighter theatre audios (excellent), illustrated books for those younger than 6 and adult resources, too.

    BTW, I just did a price comparison on Amazon, picking the best and lowest versions of the same books of the 6-11 Starter Collection and it came to $176.15, some new some used hardback, compared to the sale price that will be 139.00 for all new.

    Thought you should know. Good books from years past are so hard to come by and I’m looking at htis as a generational investment. I’m putting the ‘girl’ ones in my dd hope chest and the ‘boy’ ones in my son’s chest (whatever I decide to call it- promise?)
