I’m not really sure where to put this information, but wanted to share it incase some others be interested. There is a National Geographic King Tut museum exhibit that is currently in the US. It appears that it would go along perfectly for those studying Egypt this year. The main exhibit website is here and it’s currently in Houston, TX until April 15. Then on May 24, it will be open in Seattle! You can find out more information about the Seattle exhibit here.
Hope this helps someone. I am super excited that it will be in Seattle and we plan to take our children since we’re studying Module 1 this year.
BookwormParticipantOh, what fun! I got to see an exhibit long, long ago when it came to the US previously. A really long time ago. I probably just dated myself. But I LOVED the exhibit!
MelissaBParticipantGlad to know it was worth seeing. It’s going to be an expensive field trip with six of us, but hopefully worth it.
SueinMNParticipantWe attended this when it was in our area last year. While I thought that it was worthwhile for us, I wouldn’t take an early elementary student to it.
artcmomto3ParticipantI remember seeing this exhibit when I was in the 5th grade! We are doing Module 1 right now as well, but the exhibit is nowhere near us this year. Hope you all have a great time!
