    We have read a few. I recognize some of the titles as also Lamplighter books, if you are familiar with that style. We have enjoyed Esther Reid, Her Mother’s Bible, Hedge Fence, King’s Daughter, Mary Jones and Her Bible, Stepping Heavenward (which, I might add should be required reading for all women and teen girls – at least, that is my opinion! Smile).

    Thanks Cindy! I have read Stepping Heavenward just last yr…and it is my fav book of all time! I agree it is a MUST read!
