I googled this and cannot find it.

Which order are the books meant to be read?

We read The Good Master and The Singing Tree. I bought Chestry Oak but it doesn’t seem to be a sequel to the previous books. Should we be reading A Tree for Peter next?

A Tree for Peter is a completely different type of book. I read it to my ds about a year ago, or longer, and it is a sweet, sweet book but not one that needs to be read before or after the others.  I have Chestry Oak as well but I don’t think it is a sequel to the others.

    Clear as mud?

The Good Master and The Singing Tree go together.  They are actually semi-autobiographical.  All her other titles stand alone.  Enjoy!  She’s one of my favorite authors!

    ok, thank you!

The two we read were really good. We will read Chestry Oak next, I have seen it recommended here so many times!
