My DS6 has focus and attention issues which can be frustrating. He does remember well though, and that is always encouraging.
This morning we began reading Skylark. At the end of the first chapter there is a part about Caleb talking about ‘happily ever after’.
That led us to discuss ‘happily ever after’ and had he heard that before. I was thinking he would remember fairy tales or Disney movies, but off he went to find a book we read 8 months ago. He looked at the last page and declared ‘I guess I was wrong, it does not say ‘happily ever after’. I took the book and flipped back a page and sure enough the title of the final chapter is ‘Happily Ever After’!
