So I have this book and really like the way it’s done.  My problem is this… let’s say they keep getting all the exercises wrong.. and they have to keep reviewing it.  So I keep rewriting the sentences on the computer and printing them out.  but then I run into a new problem.. now they ONLY know how to do those sentences and actually have memorized them.  I DO NOT KNOW GRAMMER>  HELP PLEASE!!

How do I get them more sentences to lable the nouns, adj., adv, PN etc ?  Also, my 1st born really smart and is having a hard time with this and he’s 11 (we are going very slow don’t worry bout that none) but if he don’t how is my coming up the line suppose to when he’s a bit slower on the learning curve?

Any suggestions with this?  If I had to make them sentences I would have to look everything up, I’m learning right along with them.

Do you think if we just put a new sentence on the dry erase board each day or week and worked on it as a family it would help?

I think the Family Sentence each day is a great idea, Misty. I would also suggest that you contact Robin or Erin at Analytical Grammar. They have so much experience and are very willing to answer questions and help you. I just asked Erin a question about prepositional phrases last week. Smile
