Joshua through Malachi do I need new version?

I posed this question earlier about the Genesis resource and was given some good information.  I am going to attempt to combine the first two modules next year.  I have the first version that uses the Oxford book.  For the Joshua through Malachi book, is it worth the price to get the newest resource, or can I use the one I have?
