Have you used Jack’s Insects through the year while living in a snowy, wintry climate? We live in upper New England and our winters are very long, cold, and snowy. Insects tend to freeze which makes studying them tricky. Laughing

We’re also using 106 Days as a family, but Jack is for my 4th grader … I’m wondering if maybe I should save this as a read-aloud over a summer instead.

    What would you do?

Watching this. We’ll be doing Jack’s Insects this year, too, and we also live in New England. I hadn’t even thought about the climate and the fact that we’ll see very few insects for 4+ months.
