Invertebrate dissections in 6th grade?

    My dd has an opportunity to take a homeschool biology class. We are considering taking advantage of this rare opportunity, but she is not at all interested in dissections. Are we pushing this too soon? Are we better off waiting another year? Would love your thoughts!

    Biology is typically 9th grade.

    I’ve done dissections for fun earlier than that, but they don’t really get a ton from it younger.
