ParticipantHelp! I thought I had this figured out. I was going to use Apologia Bible for our Bible study but then someone told me that it is not a Bible study but a worldview series. So now I need something for Bible for grades 5, 3, 1, and preschool. Obviously we are not using SCM history or I wouldn’t be having this problem. We are using The Good and the Beautiful for history and I need a Bible study in addition. Please tell me you know of something, I’ve been searching but can’t find much. Thanks!

ParticipantThese aren’t exactly “studies” in the sense that I think you mean, but they are good resources to get you started if you don’t find something right away:
Best for the older dc:
Good for grade 1 and maybe even 3 and preschool:
Just all around fun:

ParticipantMy goodness. Those links are longer than the books themselves! 😛

ParticipantFor younger children, Heart of Dakota uses Family Time Bible and 101 Favorite Stories From the Bible. I used the 101 book with my daughter when she was young. It is very good.

You can read a child’s Bible story for everyone and follow with Bible Scriptures for your older children. (Vos or Egermeier)
We take turns reading each day from each of: Psalms, Proverbs, and NT.
Sometimes I use Leading Little Ones to God and read the Scripture that follows each short lesson. I copy Thru-the-Bible Coloring Pages (ages 6-8 book) for whoever wants one. Older children can draw a picture.
If you want more character-based Bible study, look at Character Concepts.

ParticipantWe use CLE Bible. I really enjoy it, the kids learn a lot from it. Low cost also. You can find samples from their website. I also combine my 14 (9th grade) and 12 (7th grade), they do the 8th grade book.

ParticipantHere is the link for CLE, as I check it out myself:

We were very pleased with their Bible School Lessons I used once a week on Sabbath. I bought only the teachers guide to use in a CM way. We liked the extra stories in the back that relate the Bible lesson to modern times, and we enjoyed some of the suggested hands-on activities that reinforced the lesson. We used grade 2 Promised Land for various ages. It is very inexpensive. The ten long lessons could be spread out to do one short lesson every three days if you do a separate component each day.
