I just had to share!!! We are expecting number 5!!! I am due May 7th….

I have to be honest though, every preg I am SOOOOOO tired and sick, and never get too far in HS. Thankfully it has always been just one child HS..now I have DD grade 3, grade 1 and K…I’m a little nervous about how things will go…but at the same time, this is the first preg using CM method! I am completely open to HS while preg thoguhts and how you changed your schedule or just made things work a little differently! Blessings!

    Congratulations!

Two ideas come to mind right away:

    1. Use those free afternoons for naps!

    2. Use audio books to make life easier during this season if you’re just too tired and sick and the words on the page won’t stop moving around.

    hugs for you: (((Christina)))

Congratulations Christina! Wow, that is exciting – I cannot help with advice about CM when pregnant, as I was not doing it then – all I can say, having lived through various disruptions, is to be sure not to stress – take care of yourself, rest and enjoy the pregnancy. Your other children will do fine, they are young and you can ease up a bit if you need to – pregnancy is also a learning experience for your other children and you can work your schedule to suit how you feel. There is always good music to listen to, art to look at, etc – and on the days you feel too drained, don’t sweat it – be good and kind to yourself – your little one will thank you for it when he/she is born. Again all the best to you and your family as you ready yourself to receive this wonderful blessing.

Thank you! This thread has really confirmed for me what I have been reading for a while…that we should finish our schooling in the morning! Generally I don’t start until afternoon since I am generally at my best then…however, then we drudge through everything, and I am no longer at my best and exhausted when DH comes home! I really need to switch things around, to have those afternoons free!

Congratulations Christina! I’ll be praying for you. Do you have anyone who can help out from time to time?

Thanks for the congrats! I have really been trying to implement what Sonya mentioned about having all the schooling done in the morning, and then naps in the afternoon…it has worked a few days, but for the most part not, since the morning sickness is so bad I can’t get school done! I have been trying to focus on read alouds in the evenings before bed, and then independant work as much as possible….so far, our forst month has been quite easy!

Cindy- I don’t have a lot of help…but am looking at finding someone form the church who is maybe homeschooled who I can take for an afternoon here and there!
