    Just wanted to tell you, Amanda, that your trees are indeed lovely. I love the idea of you writing a book about seasons and illustrating it with your trees. Your children, and perhaps others, would love it.

    I’m just going with my new website for right now…after Christmas I will kick things up a notch 😉 I plan on getting an Etsy shop started, submitting some samples to Candlewick Press, and keeping my art blog too. I also learned about another site called zhibit.com. I may post on it too.

    UPDATE:

    Okay…several months ago I started this thread…so far I have sold 6 paintings and all of my note cards 😉 I just recently made a facebook page, updated my Etsy shop, and added some knitted items to my list of things to sell.

    Today I emailed several samples of my art work to Candlewick Press for them to take a look at and see if they would be interested in any of them for illustrating children’s books.

    Things are moving along slowly but surely, and I just wanted to let you all know about it. I really am grateful for your opinions and help.

    Hmmm…I can’t seem to get the email to go thru to Candlewick Press. Any suggestions for other publishers of children’s books that are reputable?
