Amanda, if you figure out a way to make these into notecards before Christmas, let me know.  I would love to order a set for my grandmother 🙂  I know it’s a lot to do before then, but you never know! Smile

My husband will have to help me figure out the notecards and he is on a mission trip right now. He’ll be back next week and I’ll see what we can figure out.

    I’ll do my best! 😉

Another thought to add to the discussion – albeit a little incomplete :). A friend sent me a link the other day to an online marketplace somehow affiliated with HSLDA. I cannot remember what it was called, but hopefully a google search would help you locate it. Sounded like ETSY for Christians. Good Luck, I am going to look at your work now :)!

Amanda, I would like to link your blog with your painting onto my cake website, if you are okay with that!  I think that you have great talent, and know what it is like to want to be able to add to the income of your family, while still being home.

As far as framing, you could some framed and some not.  Framing usually ups the price for those buying it, and some might like to choose their own frame and some want it already framed.

And yes, I can totally see those kinds of paintings in a children’s book, cards, and other places.  I’d love a kids book with pictures like that. Laughing  I have no idea how you’d get into that kind of thing though…

    Amanda,

I am giving you a link to Candlewick Press’s illustrator guidelines. I think what you would need to do for most publishers is look up their submissions guidelines.

LOVE! Wonderful paintings! We buy normally only local artists, usually from a co-op gallery here in our town. Can you figure out how much it would be to ship to AK? I’m looking for something green and purple and maybe some yellow and blue for our bedroom and I LOVE the trees. Seriously LOVE them! PM me and maybe we can figure something out for after the first of the year. WOW!

Just wanted to share that I have made a new blog that will be just for my art work. Here’s a link if anyone wants to keep up with what’s happening 🙂

Thank you all again for all your help!

I am just getting in on this thread, Amanda. I like your work. I could see a nice children’s book about the changing seasons done with your beautiful tree paintings. Maybe poetic text.

Around here, there are several annual art and craft shows. I’ll send you a link for one to your pm. You have great creativity and talent
