I saw the recent questions on this and wanted to let everyone know that just last night we released a beta version of a new web app for Scripture Box. It’s designed to work with any phone, tablet or computer and any operating system since it is browser based. Jordan (from SCM) also just updated the link on the Scripture Memory System page.
We’ve been working hard on it for a few months and would love to get feedback if you care to try out the beta version. Also – any verses you enter now will carry over to the official release (which we hope to have ready in the next month or two). Below is an example of what it looks like on a phone.
missceegeeParticipantTim, this looks great. Can’t wait to try it out.
crazy4boysParticipantBeing the very untech savvy person I am….can I use this on my Kindle Fire or iPad? I think I just use my web browser to find it, correct? Will we have the option to add other verses not from the Bible? Quotes, sayings and such? Our family uses other books of scripture as well and I’d love to be able to add those.
Thanks for your hard work.
DesParticipanti’d like to know if could use it on my Fire as well
missceegeeParticipantIt is web based and free at this time. Go and try it out. They are looking for feedback.
RobinPParticipantThis looks terrific!! Just signed up and entered our first verses. I usually detest using electronic gadgets for things but I have avoided this system because I didn’t want to manage cards. I love that we can manage our own settings and preferences and I can include our catechism questions. Can’t wait for the app!
ScoathyParticipantawesome!!! will be testing this out for myself and will gladly provide feedback
TimParticipantI just wanted to confirm what @missceegee said in response to the questions regarding the Kindle Fire or iPad. As long as your device has a browser it should work. If you find any problems using the web app with the Fire please let me know. Thanks!
missceegeeParticipantTim. I’ve submitted some feedback through your contact form, too. Ideas to make it even easier to use.
ScoathyParticipantliking what I see so far 🙂 Of course, I’m only one day in and only a few verses added
