    I would love to read that too. I am in the middle of The Story of Charlotte Mason by Essex Cholmondeley (thru ILL) and am doing like Sonya…marking all the pages I want to have the quotes from. There are several passages that would make such good discussion. I may have to pretend that $60 is not a large price tag for a book, LOL!

    karivaz – we’re listening to Freckles in the car right now.  I’m really surprised at how much my 10yo, 8yo, and 6yo are enjoying it and following the story line.  (My 5yo listens, but I htink much of it goes over her head.)  We left off at an exciting part – Freckles was going to confront the guys (Black Jack and a helper) who were in the middle of cutting down a tree.  The Bird Woman and Angel are hiding and also fired shots…….and the CD is in the car…..and if I take it out, we’ll lose our spot!!! 

    I downloaded it from Librivox – each chapter is a different reader (sort of annoying), some are better than others, but it’s a really good book.

    After we’re done it, I want to listen to Girl of the Limberlost.
