Does anyone know whether the timeline figures from the HTTA timeline figures cd can be sized to fit on the charts in the SCM Book of Centuries???
Thanks!
pslivelyParticipantI don’t have the SCM book so take this for what it’s worth. I have the timeline figures on cd and there is a pdf of each figure that you can size to any size you choose. I think they would be awfully small though. Not sure if they would be too small to see well. They are quite detailed. The Pak family are really helpful and answer emails and facebook posts. You could ask them directly.
CorieParticipantThanks! I am kind of questioning whether the SCM BOC will work for us. We may want/need something more linear. Decisions, decisions! 🙂
missceegeeParticipantHi Corie,
I created the SCM BOC to work well with lists or very small drawings. It is inspired by how Charlotte’s students kept BOC. There is one page for artifact type drawings, too.
I used the timeline figures in the past for a wall timeline, so I am familiar with them. I do not think they will work well with this BOC. You can see a sample on the SCM bookstore that shows you exactly what the pages look like. That way you can make an informed decision.
Best wishes on you journey to mark time.

CorieParticipantThanks so much Christie! I looked at the samples, and I think the book is beautiful! I already have the HTTA timeline figurecd’s, which we used when doing SL. Looking at the samples pages was what got me wondering whether I would be able to size the figures small enough. Maybe I can use the figures I have for a wall timeline for the youngers and have DD use something else in her BOC.
Again, thank you!
