How many credits for Cambridge Latin 9th grade?

    Hi, I’m trying to figure out how many credits the SCM recommended Cambridge Latin would translate to for 9th grade year. We would just be starting it after completing Getting Started with Latin this past year. Could anyone who has used it let me know? Thank you so much!

    Hi Inosborn!

    Our understanding is that Cambridge Latin units 1 and 2 comprise what Cambridge considers Latin 1 so our 9th grade recommendation is roughly 1/2 credit.

    Cambridge Latin considers unit 3 = Latin 2 (1 credit) and unit 4 = Latin 3 (1 credit)

    Thank you, Tamara. It is hard to tell from the samples on the site, but do you know if the units are divided into daily lessons?
