We are using this program in the fall.  I picked up the CGC teacher’s guide as well and I keep going back and forth on how long to take.  Part of me would love to do a quick overview of science and be done in a year, moving back to Apologia the following year.  I’ve also thought about taking 2 years to go through it, adding in some extra books and experiments.  Have you all finished in a year or have you taken longer?

I did this our second year of homeschooling and am doing it again this coming year.  I finished it the first time in one year and plan on that same time span this time too.

I added in extra stuff and took about a year and a half.

I just customized it to our needs and so that we would finish in one year. I am repeating it this year with my youngest. Just do what works for you. Some things can be left out and the exposure and benefit will still be great. It’s really up to you how fast you want to go. Also the ages of the children might help determine that. I have only one going through it this time and she will be six, so I will not go too in depth or do all the extras.

This year i plan to do about half of 106 days w/CGC in 3 terms. I plan to add a couple yesterdays classics books along with it.
