How long does a Teaching Textbook lesson take?

  • How long does it take an 8 year old, and also an 11 year old, to typically complete a lesson?

    It really varies from day to day.  I would say an average of half an hour to 40 minutes?  Maybe less if they were comfortable with the info.

    What’s great about it is that there are no more tears with math!  It’s the one subject that always gets done daily, because they enjoy the format so much.  Plus, it keeps the grades per lesson for you on the computer for future reference (for the basic math forms). 

    That’s great that it keeps track for you. I am trying to find a very independent program, that can help my child teach himself. I have been doing BJ math, but now I am rethinking. I need my hands a little more free for little ones and I heard TT is pretty solid and easy for a child to handle on their own. I sure hope so!
