We are only about halfway through our year and most of the books that were onb the 10-12th grade list for history have been removed- such as Galileo’s Daughter, Westward ho, the Sea King etc, and replaced with other books.  I am such a “let’s do it all” person, I feel like we should do both sets of books, but obviously we cannot.  Any thoughts on why the other books were removed from the list and the new ones added? Thanks for any input or help!  I have 6 children in grades 1-11th.

We change the curriculum guide now and then to replace books that are hard to find or when we find books that we like better. We intend the curriculum guide to be a starting point that you can customize as you like. So feel free to make changes if you want to add books, use books you already have on hand, or simply find books that suit your family better.
