I posted earlier and said I thought I had figured out the history modules, module one is for the first year, modeul2 for the 2nd year, etc.  Now looking at it again I’m not sure that’s correct, that would mean a child wouldn’t get American history until they are in 5th grade? (Module 5, then 6).  Sorry if it’s obvious to everyone but me:)  Thanks!

    Yes that is right.

When the next child gets to school age, they join in wherever the oldest is (and later you rotate back to the beginning), so they might be in a younger grade when they hit it…..

But there are no rules that say you have to start in Module 1 and do them all in order.  That seems to be how CM would have done it, but the second child won’t get it that way anyway, so I wouldn’t sweat it!  If you feeling pulled toward a different one, then just start there and go on to the next module when you’re done.

We just jumped in where we have the most books… module 5.  Well, really, somewhere between 4 & 5….I’ve decided this first year of CM will be kind of a blending of the  two modules to get the most out of the books I have.  Laughing
