History??-MFW (Explorers-1850)

This may be the wrong forum to ask, but…I will be doing Classical Conversations Challenge A which, to my knowledge, doesn’t continue the chronological history path I am on. So I wanted to just add history. Currently using MFW, which we love, and thought about just buying the TM and history books. They use SOTW 3 as a spine.

Or…I was thinking of doing SCM’s Early Modern module which uses Stories of America/Nations. My son will be in 7th grade and I wasn’t sure if the SCM history spines were on the young side. SCM seems so straightforward and easy to teach.

Also MFW covers the 50 states and Presidents which I wasn’t sure SCM module covers.

Any info appreciated. Thx!
