I am thinking ahead but not that much!!

My oldest will be in 7th grade this year.

We have been doing MOH and plan on doing the 3 volumes so far.

I am thinking to do the SCM module 5 and 6 after that for high school.

Just wondering, is it an accredited program? Does it make a difference? How do you go about knowing how many credits your kids get?

I am wondering if I am missing something, are these info somwhere on the site?

I thought doing an online program would be best because all the credits would be registered for me and I wouldn’t need to worry about it but I am hearing it can be pretty boring.

Is there an easy way to figure all that credits thing?

Also I have my soon to be 5th grader following along. If he does the module 5 and 6 with us when he is in middle school will he need to repeat it again in high school or would that count? I am a little confused about the idea of going tru the modules twice because we started late so it would be a lot of repetition for something we just did.

    Sorry so many questions.

I don’t have much time, but Sonya has said that if you do both Module 5 and 6, you would count it as 1 credit of world history and 1 credit of American history.  (Each year you would do half a credit.)

Most people that I have read about on here with high school students track the number of hours a student spent on each subject. Generally speaking, they count anything from 120-150 hours as a credit.
