Some of our Bible studies might be helpful. Foundations in Romans teaches your student how to do an inductive study as he works through Romans paragraph by paragraph. Wisdom for Life teaches how to do a topical study as he reads through Proverbs every month for eight months. Jashub’s Journal gives a sampler of God’s good laws and how they show His wisdom. Discovering Doctrine teaches the child to look for doctrinal truths as he is reading or hearing God’s Word and to record and organize those truths so he can eventually summarize his findings and write his personal doctrinal statement.

The Romans study would take about one school year if you spend two weeks per chapter. The Proverbs study would last a whole school year. Jashub’s Journal can be finished in just a few weeks. Discovering Doctrine can last several years, depending on how long it takes the student to read through the entire Bible and record his findings for each doctrine.

    Hope this helps!

My ds used Jashubs Journal last year and LOVED it!

This year, he’s using “The One True God” bible study by Paul Washer with Heart Cry Missions. He’s using this along with the NASB.  This study is amazing. http://www.heartcrymissionary.com/resources/recommended/attributes_of_god#one_true_god
