Recommendations for 11th-grade physics books that are not too math-heavy?

You could look at Conceptual Physics by Paul Hewitt. Usually older copies are pretty inexpensive at Amazon. I haven’t actually used it yet but I will be next year with my then-12th grade son. It’s math-light, so I’m not sure if that’s what you are looking for.

Guesthollow and  Sabbath Mood both have conceptual physics. There is a DVD called Physics 101 that is conceptual too.
