I’m looking for a way that I can accomplish fine arts with a busy, busy highschooler. I wondered if anyone had a homemade resource or method they would share here. I am leaning toward using my smart phone and doing this on the fly or very smoothly between other lessons. Sounds sad, but there isn’t time for me to “pull out” anything. I need this to be almost transition less. That’s about the only way I’m going to get this particular kid interested.

I can create this resource – list of particulars and an app to handle each area – but has anyone done this already?

This would be my wish list for this resource  to cover –

    • current events
    • composer study
    • picture study (I want to use the app DailyArt for this one I think)
    • folk songs
    • poetry appreciation

Claire, I love this idea.  I’ve got nothing to add but will check back in to see what may pop up on this thread.  Hope you’re well! Christie

Hey Chrisite! Doing well over here in Tallahassee. Our kids are growing up?! 🙂 It’s exciting.

I’m going to work on this idea over the holiday for my spring term so I’ll post what I end up doing here.
