I know this topic has been covered exhaustively here…but I can’t find the one thing I’m really looking for!!  I’m putting together a partial Chemistry course for my son using Chemistry 101.  I’ve read all the posts about this vs. more rigorous college prep courses and…somewhere in there I know I read a post here or a blog referenced thru some rat trail started here (lol) where someone – maybe one of you?? – put together a good complete high school program using this as a starting point and adding specific materials to round it out.  Can anyone help me find it again?!?  I’ve looked thru my favorites, searched every way I can think of…

    Thank you!

I decided to use Biology 101 this year, and I was concerned about using the DVD series only.  I have been using all the suggested activities provided by the course for high school credit, and adding in occasional supplements from the internet, some basic high school biology textbooks I had in the house.  In addition, we are using the Castle Heights Experiences in Biology for extra lab experiences.  They have one for Chem, too: http://www.homeschoolsciencepress.com/shop/experiences-in-chemistry

I am finding this to be sufficient, useful, and do-able – especially since my DD really does not enjoy Science much at all, and this is keeping her from being totally overwhelmed, but still providing her new knowledge.

Best of luck as you journey!

Thank you for your responses!  Tailormade, I think that may have been it…at least it was one that I wanted to refer to.   I’m wondering if I was recalling incoerrectly…b/c last night I found a thread here that had this for biology and now I’m wondering if that’s what it was all along!  Anyway, I looked at the above one and made a wishlist from that to start the ball rolling.
