R7blessings, we are a Real Food family, too. Eating traditionally is a way of life now, and we talk about it often as we cook, eat, shop, etc. I just wondered if you had some specific titles that you could refer me to that you and your children enjoyed alongside this resource? We don’t have a book on digestion lying around at the moment, and I’m not sure how much my children would enjoy Price’s Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.
Christie, I think this would make an excellent co-op class. Only one thing that might make it a little difficult: there are 2 different books, one for ages 6-11, one for ages 12 and up. The former is just a pdf printout that includes copywork, word finds, coloring pages, and information. The latter is meant to be the text for video classes for each lesson. The class as a whole is $115, and includes the video lessons as well as the text. If you did your co-op for ages 6-11, I think it would work beautifully; the pdf is only $20, so also very affordable. The other…not so much.
That ecourse looks like so much fun..for me! The older ages book can (and will in our case) be used without it though..but I’m inspired to find some youtube videos to supplement. Also, wondering if the younger course ebook provides a list of living book recommendations? (Probably hard to find for the topic/age, I’m guessing!) Christie, I am inspired by your CM co-op idea as well. Going to have to look into that some more..my younger three dc’s are almost 3, almost 4, and 5 🙂
