    I have young girls.  They love themselves and mom tells them daily how beautiful they are inside and out.  But I was once a girl and lets be honest even some days now am I one of these women.  I look in the mirror and I don’t see the women my dh says I am.  Saving this video for my girls when the time is right.  I thouht I would share as it made me cry.  Only 7 minutes and worth your time.  Misty

    What an eye-opener.  Did you hear what one woman said, “it affects how you think of yourself, how you treat your children…”  That statement struck a nerve with  me!

    Glad others could be moved also by it.  Cheryl-yes that statement also made me think a couple things:

    when someon says something nice to me ESPECIALLY in front of my children (dd) i need to thank them and not say something like “oh but I still have 4lbs to go” or “I don’t really like that”.

    Thanks Misty! I needed this also! I thought I was doing good about accepting my self-image but I think I have some more room to grow. 🙂

    Phobo – I will watched yours soon.  I have limited internet so to watch video’s I have to do it at my friends house or the coffee shop both very good options though!
