Handwriting Choice

    Hi all,

    My ds (6) will be doing 1st grade work in the fall.  I am trying to decide between A Reason for Handwriting and Handwriting Simplified for handwriting practice and an introduction to cursive. 

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    I don’t have experience with either program that you’ve mentioned, but I have successfully used Cursive First with my dd9 who learned printing with HWT at 4 and then wanted to learn cursive at 5 or 6. For my ds6 we simply started with cursive and I used Pencil Pete, a simple software program. Both have lovely penmanship.
