    Just thought of another one. This is a fast and easy one day thing. We’ve made “field trip” shirts. Everyone gets the same color t-shirt and then we paint it with the same type of design (like sponge painted stars in red and blue on a white shirt). We saved them to wear for field trips and park days. Everyone looked forward to wearing them. AND they helped me keep track of everyone : ).

    OOH!  I am liking all these ideas.  We don’t have to plan for long winters but the summer does get too hot to enjoy the outdoors so we are planning on working on car models.  My guys are really into cars right now, in fact my oldest has an old go cart that doesn’t work that he is trying to fix.  Quite a learning experience.
