I really want to implement habit training with my children this year. Be a lot more intentional with it. I know this can be done without using LDtR, but I’ve heard nothing but positive things being said about it, that I really want to give it a try. So, my question is, since my budget does not allow for me to purchase both LDtR and LDtR for children, which one will be the most useful to get started? Thank you!

I’d start with the free sample pages.  The LDTR for Children has 3 habits in their sample pages, while LDTR has 2 of those same habits.  Since each habit can last you 6-12 weeks, you’d be set for awhile.  It’d also give you a good idea of which you would prefer to purchase.

Personally, we use LDTR for Children more frequently, but I try to read about the habit in the LDTR book before we begin each new habit.

The samples are located on the product pages in the Bookstore. There is a “Download a Free Sample” link just above the “Add to cart” button.
