My son has been playing guitar for almost 8 years. His current teacher is a nice person but I don’t think he is really teaching my son very much at this point.   I certainly don’t think that my son is learning enough each to pay $140 a month.  I think that my son can continue on his own at home but am interested if there are online classes that he can use to supplement what he is doing.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Rhonda

Have you looked at Justinguitar.com? My daughter is just in the beginning of the lessons so I can’t vouch for later lessons, but she likes them.

    artistworks is another.

I haven’t used it but the angles of the videos I see look very helpful. I’ve thought about trying Sierra Hull’s mandoline classes.  I’m in the same boat as you, I don’t think our current teacher is taking them to the next level.
