It’s at Timberdoodle, too, in case anyone shops there. It seems that Rosetta Stone is testing to see if a lower price would allow more homeschool purchases, therefore leading the way to a possible permanent price drop.

I surely must be missing something. I clicked on the link for My Father’s World books, and I get to the Rosetta Stone page, but I don’t see a price. It just says “our best price ever” or something like that. I even selected a language from the drop-down menu below it, and still it doesn’t bring up a price or a button for ordering….nothing at all like that.
What am I missing???

When I selected German, it brought up all their options, including prices for each…
maybe try a different language and see if you see something?

I got the screen, selected both Spanish (Latin America) and just to see if something was weird – Japanese, and both brought up several options and prices for them. Not sure what is happening with yours…

I noticed a login field at the top of the page. Do you have to login to see prices and such? I don’t really want to set up an account with a company from which I might never order anything, just to find out their price for a product…

I didn’t, but both of the level 1, version 3 languages that I looked at were $159.00. It seems to be about $100.00 off the regular price. It is a good deal. Have you looked at the other site she mentioned – Timberdoodle – to see if you can see it there any better?

I know many have had great experiences w/ RS, ours was not. We purchased RS Latin American Spanish in the newest version 2 years ago (all levels ). DD, 8 at the time, and I could NEVER satisfy the pronunciation requirement even when set on the easiest setting. I invited my Mexican brother in law to try and it didn’t like his pronunciation either. Odd since he’s a native speaker. Anywho, we sold ours. I share just to make you aware that this one has tough pronunciation requirements, at least for us.

It’s for sale at the Homeschool Buyers Coop also. Plus you get smartpoints over there which can go toward other purchases. I don’t know if it’s a better deal or not, but it’s something to check
