good movies for Ancient Egypt

    Prince of Egypt is animated and is for ages younger than yours. My main beef with that version is the changing of the Biblical Account of Moses’ being drawn from the water. It uses the Islamic tradition of Pharoah’s wife drawing him out, not the Biblical one of Pharoah’s daughter.

    That’s how they can have the storyline that Moses was Ramses’ brother, instead of uncle.

    Very Possibly, Sue.

    Personally, we’ll keep with Yul Brenner and Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments. NO ONE does a Pharoah (or a King) better than Yul Brenner!
