Going to school for music

    Do any of you send your child(ren) to a public school for music?  We could take Ethan and Eli to the local public school for band.  They could also play on the Jr. High sports teams too.  Do you mind if we discuss the pros and cons of this option?

    Oney,

    I would really like to hear what others have to say about this myself.  We have stopped to listen to our local school band practice on our nightly bicycle rides and I have often wondered if my girls would like this option, or if would even be good for them.

    We just found out about a homeschool band and chorus organization in our area last year. That might be another option to look into.

    We have homeschool band, choir, and some sports in the nearest big city(40 minutes away) that we are welcome to participate in.
