I’m starting Genesis through Deuteronomy today.  Will the bible readings from that count as “bible” for the day or should I be doing more Bible in addition to that?

For us that was our bible for the day.  I felt like it was enough for our family.  Also we did prayers, devotionals, etc. during the day, so for me the bible (reading straight from it) was just one part of bible time.  But you could add more if you felt like it.  My oldest only being 11 and the others younger that was enough to get them thinking daily about the word.  Misty

b/c the version we have for Gen-Deut lumps all of Egypt together, we have read daily from Catherine Vos’ Bible starting with the NT so we do not confuse with the OT stuff we read for the Bible portion of Module 1.  During the Bible portion we consider that our Bible time.  I have not seen the new version of Gen-Deut so if that spreads out the geography portion you may not need to do that.  Maybe I would do a review of the stories we had already read that week, have them share their favorite, draw a picture, or read a different version.
