I have Math On the Level that I would like to sell. I have only had it two years and it is in excellent to like new condition. The little I have used it, makes me hesitant to sell it for even half of the actual cost. I will sell it for $165ppd. It is $295, if purchased new. It is pricey, but will last through pre-algebra. I think it is a great ‘living math’ program. I would keep it, but I really don’t believe we would get much use out of it. My daughter is 13 and has a moderate to severe deficit in math. The neuro-psychologist recommended focusing on three particular areas of math, so she will be able to function as an adult. I talked to Carlita, the developer of Math On the Level, and shared with her the recommendations of the psychologist. I asked her advice on how to proceed with what he recommended. She gave me an idea of a plan, and although I could get some ideas for teaching and activities from the MOTL books, I realized how little we would be utilizing this actual program, and my daughter is my last child. I hardly used it this school year. The first year I used one or two of the books a little more, but very gently. Math On the Level has a yahoo group and you can ask Carlita questions. She also holds webinars sometimes, which are helpful. A VERY helpful and sweet lady to talk to. If interested in buying this, email me at psreit 62 at yahoo dot com.
